Player estimates

Nobody publishes how many people play Civil War: Gettysburg, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on App Store, Steam, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Storyline

The Battle of Gettysburg was fought from 1st to 3rd July 1863, in Pennsylvania. The battle resulted the largest number of casualties in any battle of the entire war, and was the turning point of the American Civil War. Over three days General George Meade's Army of the Potomac defeated the Confederate army of General Robert E. Lee's, ending Confederate attempts to invade the North. The first day ended with the Confederates in control of the town of Gettysburg but they had failed to push on to take the high ground. Day two was a day of a series of actions at both ends of the battlefield at Culp's Hill and Little Round Top. Day three ended with the disaster of Pickett's Charge.

Frequently asked questions

How many people play Civil War: Gettysburg?

We estimate that about 780 people have played Civil War: Gettysburg — plausibly between 390 and 1.6K. Around 39 of them play on a given day, in a range of 4 and 230. Both figures are modelled from public counts on App Store, Steam and Twitch rather than published by the developer, so read them as a scale rather than as a headcount.

Is Civil War: Gettysburg still active?

Yes. Civil War: Gettysburg is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.

How are the Civil War: Gettysburg player estimates worked out?

Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 2 readings taken since August 8, 2026.
