Estimates, not counts — nobody publishes real player numbers for mobile games, so these are modelled from public signals. How we work them out
Nobody publishes how many people play iGP Manager, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on Google Play, App Store, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Read the range as the answer and the headline as its middle.

No source reports a live count for this game, so this is a share of the total player base — a genre assumption rather than an observation, which is why the range is wide.

iGP Manager was founded in 2011 by Jack Basford after pursuing a career as a racing driver. In 2008, Jack won a talent search looking for a future Formula One driver. The competition was set to be televised, until the rights changed hands at the conclusion of the competition, and the new rights holder dropped the show. The promised prize, a fully paid season in Formula BMW, vanished overnight. This setback led Jack to shift focus and pursue his passion for technology, learning software development, business, game design and more, mostly by reading. After explaining his vision for iGP Manager to a friend, they moved in to a cramped flat and begin building it, hiring any extra help they needed using loans. Launched in December 2011 as a browser game, iGP Manager was the first of its kind, offering real-time multiplayer strategy. A loyal community grew around the title, which would later reach new heights when it became cross-platform. By 2017 iGP Manager arrived in the app stores, where it went on to amass an audience of millions of players around the world. 2021 marked the addition of 3D graphics and wheel-to-wheel racing, making iGP Manager the first game in the genre to offer onboard and TV cameras, comparable to a racing game. To this day, it remains one-of-a-kind in the app stores, offering an experience and visuals normally reserved for desktop titles. One of the largest games of its kind to this day, with an ambitious team behind it, fully embracing remote work, iGP Games remains a fully independent studio. Jack is also the sole remaining founder, having persisted through the early startup years.
We estimate that about 82,000 people have played iGP Manager — plausibly between 41K and 160K. Around 4,100 of them play on a given day, in a range of 410 and 25K. Both figures are modelled from public counts on Google Play, App Store and Twitch rather than published by the developer, so read them as a scale rather than as a headcount.
Yes. iGP Manager is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.
Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 2 readings taken since August 8, 2026.
