Joining Hands

In Joining Hands the player places creatures named 'peablins' on a board of hexagons. Each peablin has 1 to 6 hands each; when two peablins are adjacent to each other, they join hands. If all hands of a peablin are joined, the peablin is happy. But there are other kinds of peablins -- some can move their hands, some cannot; some cannot be moved at all; some are only happy if they have no neighbors, while others scare adjacent peablins. The game contains over 150 boards, with all kinds of shapes and restrictions. The goal of the game is to place the peablins so all their hands are joined (if possible, collecting stars in the process).

Estimates, not counts — nobody publishes real player numbers for mobile games, so these are modelled from public signals. How we work them out

Player estimates

Nobody publishes how many people play Joining Hands, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on App Store, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Read the range as the answer and the headline as its middle.

Range 10610

No source reports a live count for this game, so this is a share of the total player base — a genre assumption rather than an observation, which is why the range is wide.

Frequently asked questions

How many people play Joining Hands?

We estimate that about 2,000 people have played Joining Hands — plausibly between 1K and 4.1K. Around 100 of them play on a given day, in a range of 10 and 610. Both figures are modelled from public counts on App Store and Twitch rather than published by the developer, so read them as a scale rather than as a headcount.

Is Joining Hands still active?

Yes. Joining Hands is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.

How are the Joining Hands player estimates worked out?

Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 2 readings taken since August 8, 2026.
