Based on The Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy, LEGO The Lord of the Rings follows the original storylines of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, taking players through the epic story events reimagined with the humor and endless variety of LEGO play. Trusted with the dangerous task to destroy an ancient magical ring that threatens all that is good, Frodo is forced to leave his peaceful home. But the ring wants to be found and the road to Mount Doom, the only place where it can be destroyed, will be perilous and riddled with Orcs and fouler things. To help Frodo, a Fellowship is formed —Aragorn the Ranger, Gandalf the Wizard, Legolas the Elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Boromir a Man of Gondor, and Frodo’s Hobbit friends Sam, Merry and Pippin. Players relive the legend through the LEGO minifigures, as they explore wonders, solve timeless riddles, and overcome endless foes in their quest to destroy the Ring.

Estimates, not counts — nobody publishes real player numbers for mobile games, so these are modelled from public signals. How we work them out
Nobody publishes how many people play LEGO The Lord of the Rings, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on Steam, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Read the range as the answer and the headline as its middle.

Not tracked for LEGO The Lord of the Rings: Google Play, App Store, Discord, Reddit, YouTube. A platform appears here once the game has a link to it — most mobile games have no Steam port or subreddit, so a gap is normal rather than a sign the game is small.
In LEGO The Lord of the Rings, the hobbit Frodo is entrusted with a dangerous task: to destroy an ancient magical ring that threatens all that is good. Join him and his friends as they are forced to leave their peaceful homes, in search of guidance and aid. But the Ring wants to be found....and the road to Mount Doom, the only place where it can be destroyed, is riddled with Orcs...and fouler things.
We estimate that about 560,000 people have played LEGO The Lord of the Rings — plausibly between 320K and 960K. Around 3,300 of them play on a given day, in a range of 1.6K and 6.8K. Both figures are modelled from public counts on Steam and Twitch rather than published by the developer, so read them as a scale rather than as a headcount.
Yes. LEGO The Lord of the Rings is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.
Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 1 readings taken since August 9, 2026.
