Estimates, not counts — nobody publishes real player numbers for mobile games, so these are modelled from public signals. How we work them out
Nobody publishes how many people play Mizen Tantei: The Protea Cases, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on Steam, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Read the range as the answer and the headline as its middle.

No source reports a live count for this game, so this is a share of the total player base — a genre assumption rather than an observation, which is why the range is wide.

Shinjuku, 2023. The protagonist, Chiharu Izuki, lacks self-confidence due to the trauma of once being kidnapped, and spend her days unable to help anyone at all. One day, while searching for a missing person at her detective agency job, she comes cross the mysterious app “Protea.” It was a crime prediction artificial intelligence developed by the Metropolitan Police Department and currently being tested in the Shinjuku Ward. Guided by Protea’s predictions, Chihari encounters various incidents. She meets a detective who asks for her cooperation, a mysterious boy who for some reason appears at the scene of the crime, and others. Chiharu’s new life of cooperative work to prevent incidents before they occur has begun…!
We estimate that about 350 people have played Mizen Tantei: The Protea Cases — plausibly between 200 and 600. Around 17 of them play on a given day, in a range of 2 and 90. Both figures are modelled from public counts on Steam and Twitch rather than published by the developer, so read them as a scale rather than as a headcount.
Yes. Mizen Tantei: The Protea Cases is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.
Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 1 readings taken since August 9, 2026.
