Organ Trail: Director's Cut

In The Organ Trail, players must cross a post-apocalyptic United States in an old station wagon in order to reach a sanctuary free of zombies. Players must manage their limited resources, including food, ammunition and fuel for their vehicle, in order to complete their journey and keep everyone in their party alive and healthy. At the beginning players can choose from a number of characters to play as including a cop from Kentucky, a clerk from New Jersey, or a lawyer from Miami. Each character has different bonuses in gameplay; for example the cop will offer more hours for the player to scavenge for supplies at the beginning of the game but will earn less points if the player beats the game, while the lawyer will give the player the least time to scavenge for supplies but earn the most points.

Player estimates

Nobody publishes how many people play Organ Trail: Director's Cut, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on App Store, Steam, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Read the range as the answer and the headline as its middle.

Frequently asked questions

How many people play Organ Trail: Director's Cut?

We estimate that about 37,000 people have played Organ Trail: Director's Cut — plausibly between 18K and 73K. Around 1,800 of them play on a given day, in a range of 180 and 11K. Both figures are modelled from public counts on App Store, Steam and Twitch rather than published by the developer, so read them as a scale rather than as a headcount.

Yes. Organ Trail: Director's Cut is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.

How are the Organ Trail: Director's Cut player estimates worked out?

Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 2 readings taken since August 8, 2026.
