Pokémon: Magikarp Jump

Train your Magikarp to soar as high as possible in Pokémon Magikarp Jump! The lowly Magikarp now gets its time in the spotlight with this fun app for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Feed and develop your Magikarp to maximize the Pokémon's jump power to reach new heights. Then compete to see if your Magikarp is the best. Can your Magikarp rise to the level of League Champion? During your training, if Magikarp gets knocked out, or retires upon reaching Lv. 20, you'll start over with a new generation of Magikarp. But not all progress is lost—your new Pokémon will start off a little bit stronger than your last. Keep training every Magikarp until you can make it to the top of the in-game tournament ladder! While you're raising your Magikarp, keep an eye out for Pokémon that want to help you. For example, some Pokémon you encounter will give you food to keep your Magikarp nourished. When you do well in jumping tournaments, you can get commemorative photos of your achievement. You can share these photos online and with friends to show the world how well you've trained your Magikarp.

Player estimates

Nobody publishes how many people play Pokémon: Magikarp Jump, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on Google Play, App Store, Reddit, YouTube, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Read the range as the answer and the headline as its middle.

Frequently asked questions

How many people play Pokémon: Magikarp Jump?

We estimate that about 7,300,000 people have played Pokémon: Magikarp Jump — plausibly between 2M and 280M. Around 360,000 of them play on a given day, in a range of 20K and 43M. Yes. Pokémon: Magikarp Jump is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.

How are the Pokémon: Magikarp Jump player estimates worked out?

Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 2 readings taken since August 8, 2026.
