Rise of the Triad, a first-person shooter, is the successor of Wolfenstein 3D, with a somewhat improved 3D engine. Everything is still composed from blocks, but multiple vertical levels have been added; there are stairs made of platforms floating in air, and jump pads which launch you (and the enemies) high up so that you can walk over tall barriers in your way.

Estimates, not counts — nobody publishes real player numbers for mobile games, so these are modelled from public signals. How we work them out
Nobody publishes how many people play Rise of the Triad: Dark War, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on Steam, Discord, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Read the range as the answer and the headline as its middle.

Not tracked for Rise of the Triad: Dark War: Google Play, App Store, Reddit, YouTube. A platform appears here once the game has a link to it — most mobile games have no Steam port or subreddit, so a gap is normal rather than a sign the game is small.
You are part of an elite group of operatives called HUNT (High-risk United Nations Taskforce), and you must stop a maniac cult leader from killing millions of people. While scouting a remote island, you are suddenly surrounded by enemy troops with guns blaring. In the distance you see your boat--your only chance to escape--explode into matchsticks. In front of you is a huge fortress monastery, and your only chance to stop the madness.
We estimate that about 130,000 people have played Rise of the Triad: Dark War — plausibly between 50K and 340K. Around 22,000 of them play on a given day, in a range of 7K and 61K. Both figures are modelled from public counts on Steam, Discord and Twitch rather than published by the developer, so read them as a scale rather than as a headcount.
Yes. Rise of the Triad: Dark War is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.
Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 1 readings taken since August 9, 2026.
