What the estimate rests on

  • App Store 67%
  • Steam 33%

Player estimates

Nobody publishes how many people play Rytmos, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on App Store, Steam, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Read the range as the answer and the headline as its middle.

Range 191.1K

No source reports a live count for this game, so this is a share of the total player base — a genre assumption rather than an observation, which is why the range is wide.

Storyline

Travel from planet to planet and discover the music hidden inside. Solve the six puzzles on the sides of the planet by drawing a path that ends where it started, creating a loop. Hear the music slowly unfold as the loops generate unique musical sequences that layers together with the rest of the planet's loops. Play on top of the music from the planet with a great selection of fun unlockable musical toys. The universe is full of cubic planets, which all contains six maze-puzzles to be solved. The path in the maze is drawn by swiping the cursor in a given direction, and it will draw as long as there is a surface underneath. By hitting so-called sound emitters on its way, the cursor activates different tones, percussion elements or musical chords. Each time you solve a new side of a planet a new musical loop is added to the previous one, revealing more and more of a musical composition.

Frequently asked questions

How many people play Rytmos?

We estimate that about 3,700 people have played Rytmos — plausibly between 1.9K and 7.4K. Around 190 of them play on a given day, in a range of 19 and 1.1K. Both figures are modelled from public counts on App Store, Steam and Twitch rather than published by the developer, so read them as a scale rather than as a headcount.

Is Rytmos still active?

Yes. Rytmos is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.

How are the Rytmos player estimates worked out?

Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 2 readings taken since August 8, 2026.

When was Rytmos released?

Rytmos was released on February 28, 2023 for iOS.

What platforms is Rytmos available on?
