Estimates, not counts — nobody publishes real player numbers for mobile games, so these are modelled from public signals. How we work them out
Nobody publishes how many people play Truffle Hogs, so these figures are modelled from the public counts on App Store, Steam, Twitch. Each count stands in a roughly known ratio to a population — one Play rating per ~45 players, one Steam review per ~35 owners — and the estimates below combine those readings, weighted by how much each source can be trusted to speak for the whole game. Read the range as the answer and the headline as its middle.

No source reports a live count for this game, so this is a share of the total player base — a genre assumption rather than an observation, which is why the range is wide.

Not tracked for Truffle Hogs: Google Play, Discord, Reddit, YouTube. A platform appears here once the game has a link to it — most mobile games have no Steam port or subreddit, so a gap is normal rather than a sign the game is small.
BE PIGS. WEAR HATS. WITH 8 FRIENDS AT ONCE. Ever wanted to be a purple pig and wear a mushroom hat? Now you can! Choose your pig’s color and hat, and unlock more hats as you play. IT’S LOWKEY COMPETITIVE Truffle Hogs is silly, colorful, and fun... but it's also competitive! The game itself is a fast-paced strategy game where you’ll run around searching for buried truffles, stealing truffles found by other players, defending your own truffles, and grabbing some crazy powerups. DECORATE YOUR TREEHOUSE When you play the game with others, you’ll invite them over to your treehouse. So, why not make your treehouse look absolutely sweet? There are thousands of combinations of roofs, floors, walls, and more. Want a super edgy all-black goth house? Or a pretty pink house with a hearts and rainbow floor? The only limit is your imagination (and me adding more decoration options into the game). 100% INDIE Truffle Hogs is being made by one person (my name is Avi, hi!), with additional art and music produced by a few of his friends. The game is currently free-to-play, with no in-app purchases, and is only supported by optional ads that do not affect the game competitively. There are no lootboxes or other icky gambling mechanics here! COLOR BLIND ACCESSIBLE Truffle Hogs relies on colors to distinguish between teams, but you can turn on color-blind mode to use patterns as well as colors to distinguish between teams. It also just looks cool, so you might want to turn it on even if you’re not color-blind!
We estimate that about 25,000 people have played Truffle Hogs — plausibly between 12K and 49K. Around 1,200 of them play on a given day, in a range of 120 and 7.4K. Both figures are modelled from public counts on App Store, Steam and Twitch rather than published by the developer, so read them as a scale rather than as a headcount.
Yes. Truffle Hogs is holding steady — it measured within a percent of where it was a week ago. We recheck every source daily, and the charts on this page show each platform's readings over time.
Nobody publishes player counts for mobile games, so we infer them. Each public count we can read is converted into a population using a documented ratio — roughly one Google Play rating per 45 people who played, one Steam review per 35 owners, one Discord member per 40 players — and the live counts (Steam concurrents, members online, Twitch viewers) are converted the same way into a daily figure. Those separate estimates are then averaged in proportion to how much each source can be trusted, which is why sources that disagree widen the published range instead of cancelling out. This page is built on 2 readings taken since August 8, 2026.
